A fair round, with nothing to mark by hand.
Hiring and training teams need the same thing exam cells do: a test nobody can game, and scores the moment it ends.
Paper aptitude tests take days to mark
Objective answers marked for you, scores ready after the round
A weak connection ends a candidate’s online test
Answers wait on the device, and the test carries on
Candidates share answers in a crowded room
Locked screens, and a shuffled paper on every lab screen
No record of who left the test window
Every leave on the attempt’s timeline, with its time
Two people use one login
One attempt per username; a second device is flagged
Scores spread across email and spreadsheets
Every candidate’s result in the console, ready to download
For HR, training and placement teams.
One console for every round, whether candidates sit it in your lab, at a campus or on their own devices.
Recruitment rounds
Aptitude and skill rounds in a fixed window: the exam opens and closes on time, and a late start can’t stretch past the close.
Placement drives
Run the round on a campus’s computers with no internet, or send candidates a link to sit it in a browser or the app.
Training assessments
Check what a batch learned at the end of a course, in the training room or from their own desks.
Mock drives
Let candidates practise under the same rules as the real round, so exam day holds no surprises.
The same clock for everyone
No time extensions: every attempt’s deadline is fixed when it starts, and the server keeps the time.
Need-to-know papers
Only the people you add can open a paper, to edit or only to view. Everyone else, admins included, can’t see it.
Pick the room, keep the rules.
Each test can run in up to three places at once. In a computer lab, the exam file locks the whole computer and needs no internet. From a link, it opens fullscreen in a browser. On a phone or tablet, the ExamPin Exam app pins the screen on Android.
Wherever candidates sit it, the paper, the sealed answer key and the results page are the same, and the results show which way each attempt was taken. Your team decides whether leaving the test only warns the candidate or ends the test after a set number of leaves.

What hiring teams ask first.
More in the full FAQ, or ask us in your demo request.
Can candidates take the test from home?
Yes, in a browser or the ExamPin Exam app, from a link you send. They need the internet to sign in and to submit, and answers given in between are kept on the device if the connection drops. ExamPin locks the screen and records every leave; it doesn’t watch candidates through a camera.
Can two candidates share one login?
Each username gets one attempt per exam, and only one device can hold it at a time. Signing in on a second device continues the same attempt, stops the first device and flags the attempt for your team.
Do candidates need an account?
Not an account of their own. They sign in with the username and password your organization gives them.
Can we write our own questions?
Yes. Type them into the console or import a question bank from Excel. Multiple choice, true or false and passages are marked automatically; written answers wait for your team to grade them.
What does it cost?
It depends on how many candidates you assess and how often, and there is no hardware to buy. Book a free demo and we’ll put a plan together with you. If you already have a quote for the same tests, send it to us and we’ll beat it.
